Athens First Modern Worship Band "The PATH" invites you to kick off the holiday season. We present "Home for the Holidays" outdoor concert on November 22, 2024, at 6pm with special guests Christian recording artists Band Reeves and Texas A&M Aggie and Dallas Cowboy Dat Nguyen. This is a free event for the community with Food Trucks on site to take care of your dinner plans.

Get to know Dat Nguyen

Dat Tan Nguyen is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for seven seasons with the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. He played College football for the Texas A&M Aggies earning unanimous All-American honors. Nguyen's family left South Vietnam during the fall of Saigon at the end of the Vietnam War and he was born in a refugee center at Fort Chaffee in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He lived most of his childhood in the Gulf Coast town of Rockport, Texas. He is the first Vietnamese-American  to be drafted, play, and be recognized as an All-Pro in the NFL.
In 2017, Nguyen was elected to the College Football Hall Of Fame.

HAILING FROM EAST TEXAS. THEIR SOUND MASTERFULLY BLENDS ELEMENTS OF FAITH, THOUGHTFUL SONGWRITING, AND INFLUENCES FROM BOTH COUNTRY AND ROCK GENRES.
MUSIC HAS ALWAYS BEEN INTEGRAL TO THEIR LIVES. JERAMY PICKED UP THE GUITAR AT 12 AND QUICKLY BEGAN CRAFTING ORIGINAL SONGS, WHILE CODY’S PASSION FOR MUSIC STARTED EVEN EARLIER—SINGING “MY NAME IS LAZARUS” BY THE GAITHERS AT JUST THREE YEARS OLD. INSPIRED BY THEIR GRANDFATHER, A DEDICATED DRUMMER, THE BROTHERS DEVELOPED A DEEP APPRECIATION FOR MUSIC THAT HAS SHAPED THEIR ARTISTIC JOURNEY.
AS THEY MATURED, JERAMY AND CODY HONED THEIR CRAFT IN LOCAL CHURCHES BEFORE COMMITTING TO A FULL-TIME MUSIC CAREER. TODAY, THEY TRAVEL NATIONWIDE, SHARING A MESSAGE OF HOPE THROUGH THEIR HEARTFELT SONGWRITING AND PERFORMANCES, DEEPLY ROOTED IN THEIR CHRISTIAN FAITH.
